NIKOS Extracurricular Education @UT: UT Challenge, MOOC's and Summer Schools

The UT is one of the leading ECIU partners (European Consortium of Innovative Universities). Within this consortium, new challenge-based educational models and university teaching practices emerge, to deal with complex societal challenges faced by business, public organizations, sectors and industries. As one of the leading departments in enterprise educational development, NIKOS supports the growth of challenge based education in UT context. It does so by linking real life challenges provided by public and private organizations to educational activities and skilled staff to support the student teams. In this endeavor, NIKOS closely collaborates with CELT (Centre of Expertise in Learning and Teaching), NOVEL-t, and SBD (Strategic Business Development). Contact: Raymond Loohuis (r.p.a.loohuis@utwente.nl).

Together with NOVEL-t and Soapbox, NIKOS is involved with UT's most important extracurricular innovation and entrepreneurship trajectory, the UT Challenge! Since 2017 this yearly event takes place between April and June (with preliminary activities already from February onwards) when groups of UT students work on further developing their business ideas into business plans, prototypes, or even scale up small businesses. See the website https://www.utchallenge.nl/info for more information!

Last but not least, NIKOS is proud of two entrepreneurship Massive Open Online Courses:
