Living Change - Comenius Senior Fellow grant for dr. Mireille Post-Hubers

On behalf of S&T faculty, with support of BMS faculty, dr. Mireille Post-Hubers received the NKO Comenius Senior fellowship grant for the project titled Living Change. Currently, our students develop rigorous scientific and technological expertise. To further support implementation of our cutting-edge solutions in real-world contexts, new forms of change education are needed. This project develops change education across four programs:

  • Industrial Engineering and Management,
  • Technical Medicine,
  • Biomedical Engineering,
  • and Humanitarian Engineering.

With the grant, the current elective “the Art & Science of Change” will be further developed, and two new courses will be designed and taught. Within each course, the project innovates at the intersection of experiential learning, contemporary change theory, and technical education. This grant builds on a previous grant for optimising engineering education from the 4TU Centre of Engineering Education.

The project team is composed of dr. Mireille Post-Hubers (EST), dr. Martijn Koot  (IEM) drs. Niek Van der Veen (IEM),  dr. Eduardo Lalla (IEM), dr. Jordy van Zandwijk (TM), dr. Judith Brands (BME), drs. Katja Haijkens (TM & BME), dr. Nina Trauernicht (HE), dr. Peter Chemweno (HE), drs. Annemarie Wenzel (Concordia).
