About Psychology of Conflict, Risk and Safety
The section of PCRS focuses on how individuals and groups an get involved in events that threaten the psychological, physical or societal safety. Such threats are approached from a social psychological perspective, with crossovers to e.g. clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, and work and organisational psychology. Education and research are focused on three main themes: conflict and risk management, risk perception and risk communication and the antecedents of risky, antisocial and criminal behaviour. Also, new technologies are implemented in the research projects.
