Jos van Hillegersberg appointed jury chairman for the Dutch Logistics Award

University of Twente professor Jos van Hillegersberg was appointed chairman of the jury for the Dutch Logistics Award.

This award is an initiative of the Dutch Logistics Society VLM, the national professional association of logistics managers and specialists, which has almost 1,700 members. The award goes to the organization that was the most successful in carrying out an innovative logistics project. The Dutch Logistics Society aims to promote and reward exceptional achievements, innovation and professional development in the area of logistics with this annual award, which was first handed out in 1984. The winner should be a source of inspiration to other businesses. Jos van Hillegersberg has been a member of the jury since 2006. He will take over from current chairman Walther Ploos van Amstel during the Logistics Ball on 10 November.

Professor Jos van Hillegersberg is Professor of Business Information Systems at the University of Twente. He manages the department of Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems (IEBIS), which operates on the cutting edge of IT, business administration and logistics. Professor Van Hillegersberg’s specializations include improving collaboration in business networks using innovative IT solutions.
