Ethiopian Higher education leadership and management programme (HELM)
The programme focuses on individual competence development activities targeting leadership and management development. It addresses various levels of university leadership: university presidents, academic vice presidents, vice presidents for regional services and deans and directors of research institutes. Each of these four cohorts of 20 participants follow a four-stage programme: a preparatory workshop in Ethiopia, a leadership seminar combined with an exposure visit to Germany and the Netherlands, and a follow-up workshop in Ethiopia. The programme is led by CHE with the consortium including CHEPS and the Munster and Osnabruck Universities of Applied Sciences. The programme runs in 2016 and 2017 and is funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Contact person for HELM at CHEPS is Hans Vossensteyn.
