Irena Y. Maureen (Surabaya, 1977) studied Education and Training Systems Design (MSc) at the University of Twente. Her master thesis concerned the in-service training for the primary school teachers in Indonesia. After her graduation, she teaches in the Educational Technology department in the State University of Surabaya, Indonesia. In November 2015, Irena started her Ph.D-project in the Department of Instructional Technology, University of Twente.
