On the 17th of September 2013, the department of Psychology, Health & Technology of the University of Twente will organize its second symposium on item response theory in health measurement in the Van der Valk hotel Schiphol, the Netherlands.
The symposium will bring researchers and physicians interested in health outcomes research together and will acquaint them with theoretical aspects behind IRT, clarified with some examples of practical applications in health measurement. Research possibilities and the current state of art of IRT methods will be discussed, and examples of computerized adaptive testing (CAT) will be demonstrated. The symposium will be of interest to a wide range of medical areas. Both national as well as international speakers will present their research.
