Cindy Lammertink graduated at Radboud University Nijmegen (Biomedical Health Sciences) as a movement scientist in 1999. She worked as a researcher in several rehabilitation centers, studying rehabilitative programs in patients with chronic low back pain and amputees.
In 2010 she shifted her scope towards supporting UT researchers in legislative and ethical issues within research involving human subjects. Besides individual support she also advises the management team of the MIRA institute in developing procedures and facilities for researchers. As part of this shift, Cindy Lammertink was an auditor at the local medical ethics research committee (METC Twente) for 5 years.
Cindy Lammertink joined the HTSR group in 2015 and expanded her teaching activities towards the bachelor programs of Technical Medicine and Health Sciences, mainly introducing students into Clinical Epidemiology.
