Dr. Karin (C.G.M.) Groothuis-Oudshoorn is a biostatistician and has broad experience in developing and applying statistical techniques in health, medicine and rehabilitation.
She works par time as biostatistician at Roessingh Research and Development and as assistant professor at the University of Twente.
She is member of the Medical Ethical Committee of the Roessingh as methodologist and deputy methodologist member of the Medical Ethical Committee of the MST (Regional hospital in Enschede).
Her research interests are missing data and multiple imputation, bayesian methods, statistical computing with R, datamining, innovative methods for estimating effects in observational studies and methodological aspects of conjoint analysis.
