Every year, a candidate has successfully defending a PhD thesis. In 2017, Hanh Minh Thai has written a thesis on: Corporate social responsibility in Vietnam (link UT: https://research.utwente.nl/en/publications/corporate-social-responsibility-in-vietnam-determinants-and-effec). She is currently working at School of Economics and Management, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam.

In 2018, Normaziah Binti Mohd Nor defended her thesis on: The effects of customer concentration (link: https://research.utwente.nl/en/publications/the-effect-of-customer-concentration-on-firm-risk-growth-and-corp). She is now at the Faculty of Economics and Management, University Putra Malaysia.

Finally, in 2019, Taufiq Arifin completed his PhD Thesis on: Corporate political connections (link: https://research.utwente.nl/en/publications/transactional-and-relational-approaches-to-political-connections). He is working at the Faculty of Economics & Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia.
