BDSI Extended Reality (XR) Meeting

We’re excited to invite you to our next BDSI XR session on Thursday, 25 September at 16:00 in Capitool building, room 307!

This month’s session will feature Yue Li, who will share her impressions, key takeaways, and useful materials from the Interdisciplinary Summer School on AR Forest Ecosystems at Oxford University.

Following this, Yagiz Caniguroglu and Eren Akyurek will present their work from the summer internship, showcasing an event-triggered large language model implementation in VR and educational AR tutorials they developed.

This is a great opportunity to hear fresh insights from international training and hands-on projects, while connecting with peers interested in immersive tech, VR, and AR.

After the talks, we’ll open the floor for an informal discussion on how these ideas can inspire future research and practice.
