Students and young professionals in the field of engineering are invited to a new edition of the KIVI Innovation Drinks Twente. This edition will start with two inspiring presentations about Operations Management in Healthcare and will conclude with an informal networking drink.

We are proud to announce presentations by Erwin Hans (University of Twente) and Rob Vromans (Rhythm).

Erwin Hans is full professor at the University of Twente in the field of operations management in healthcare. He is one of the founders of the Center for Healthcare Operations Improvement and Research (CHOIR) of the University of Twente. CHOIRs mission is to help healthcare organizations to improve the efficiency, quality of care and quality of labor through redesigning and optimizing their processes. CHOIR is a multi-disciplinary research center that combines several fields including operations research, logistics, operations management, health sciences, business analytics, it management, quality and safety management.
Erwin’s expertise is within the field of planning and scheduling, operations management and applications of operation research.

Rob Vromans is working at Rhythm as healthcare logistics consultant. Rhythm is a startup company which consults the healthcare industry by use of Business Analytics and Optimization. Rhythm is rooted in and provides access to the latest research insights and innovations for optimization of healthcare services. Their high end business analytics and optimization solutions help health care organizations to strengthen service quality, operational excellence and strategic decision making in a sustainable way.
