ELAN participation in EU Erasmus+ proposal “The power of data to take smart decisions for school improvement”
Kim Schildkamp en Cindy Poortman (ELAN) are both involved in an EU Erasmus+ proposal about the use of data to improve education. In this so called DRIVE project, Kim and Cindy, together with the Ministry of education of Luxembourg, the ministry of education of Croatia, an applied university from Belgium (Autonome hochschule in der Deutschsprachigen gemeinschaft), an university from Poland (Spoleczna Akademia Nauk) and an organization focused on data analytics (Edurio), will study how to support schools with evidence-based school improvement. They will study which innovative technologies can be used to collect, analyze and use data. Moreover, school leaders and teachers will be trained in how to use these data to improve education. The project starts in October 2018 and will run until September 2021.
