Franck van de Pieterman in Mozambique

Franck van de Pieterman’ story:

Poorest countries in the world, located in southern Africa. I did not speak any Portuguese, let alone any of the local Bantu languages, and the village was deprived from most of the luxuries I was used to back home. However, people were kind and after a while, I started to enjoy everything sub-Saharan Africa has to offer, contributing to this incredible experience. The internship was to review four micro hydro sites – something completely outside my field, but I was still able to contribute to the organization and ended up with a high end mark! I highly recommend people going abroad, especially to a country that does not come first to mind. I truly believe that this experience was one of the craziest of my life.
