In May and June 2023 we initiated and performed a so-called Thesis carousel. This carousel had three goals: a) to reassure our theses are assessed in a consistent way; b) to generate data on assessment to discuss with the Examination Board. The third goals is to use this data in talks with (future) supervisors about the thesis assessment process, and to improve this process. The results of the thesis carrousel suggest a good level of consistency between the original assessment and the second one. These results suggest to develop new activities towards improving the consistency across the teachers.
In the following table the grade distribution for theses per year can be found.
