1. Maria Iacob (he was my student in 2018)

My heartfelt condolences go out to Shoja's family. We have lost a wonderful person, and an exceptional student. Shoja will be missed by many of us.

2. Victor

You've shown me what hard work is. I wish I could've helped you, but I hope you found your peace now. Slaap zacht Shoja

3. Berend Roorda (teacher in one of his courses, fall 2019)

My sincere condolences to Shoja's family and friends. I remember Shoja as a dedicated student, who brought positivity and energy in class - the type of student that brings joy in our work. I wish you all strength and support in this extremely difficult time.

4. Carlijn (Fellow student)

My deepest condolences to Shoja's family and friends. Shoja was a fellow student of mine, we worked together on three projects. I knew Shoja as a very kind and hard working person. He helped me through module 2 and was always there to help whenever I struggled with programming. He was actually always there whenever anyone needed help. I wish I could have been there to help him. Rest in peace, Shoja

5. Arend Rensink (Programme Director of TCS, several modules of which are shared with BIT)

What a sad, sad message. My heart goes out to everyone who knew Shoja personally, most especially his family who will have to live through this from far away.

6. Klaas Sikkel (Teacher / project team mentor)

Shoja will be remembered as a good student, but more importantly a kind student, always prepared to help others. It is loss for the university that he is no longer with us.

My condolances to his family for their big loss...

7. Philipp (Project group colleague)

I was shocked to hear of Shoja’s sudden death. Even though I didn’t know him very well, he struck me as a very kind, supportive and smart person. I would have liked the opportunity to get to know him better. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and relatives.

8. Andriyan Aleksandrov (Acquaintance)

I want to express my deepest condolences. Be strong... We are all with you!

9. Jos van Hillegersberg (Coordinator of BIT/IEM Module 7, Product Design to Online Business)

My sincere condolences to Shoja's family and friends. Shoja will be deeply missed. He was taking module 7 and from his team I learned he was very dedicated contributing greatly to their joint project, also after all work had to be done online as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. This is a big loss for all that have known Shoja, for the Business & IT program and the University of Twente. I wish Shoja's family and friends strength.

10. Bibian Rosink (Study advisor Bachelor BIT)

At the start of his studies in september 2018 I met Shoja during the introductory meeting. I remember him as a really kind, calm, positive and polite person.
I want to express my condolences to Shoja's parents and brothers with this great loss. I wish you all strength in this extremely difficult time.
