INAUGURAL LECTURE PROF.DR. LAURA SPIERDIJK, THURSDAY, 12 DECEMBER 2024
The Rector Magnificus would like to announce that Prof.dr. Laura Spierdijk appointed by the Executive Board of the University of Twente as Professor of Financial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) will be giving an inaugural lecture in the Prof.ir. M.P. Breedveld Room, Waaier Building, at 4PM on Thursday 12 December 2024 to mark the occasion of her appointment.
The title of this lecture will be: THE INSURABILITY OF EXTREME WEATHER RISK: PERILS AND PROMISES OF FINANCIAL ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS"
