Smart Energy Hubs Conference 2025 Abstract Submission Deadline 14 September

The energy transition requires smart, integrated solutions for managing decentralized generation, storage, conversion, and flexible use of energy. To exchange knowledge and showcase innovations in this field, the Smart Energy Hubs Conference 2025 will take place on 12 November 2025 in Enschede. This year’s theme for the conference is: “Unlocking robust, decarbonized energy systems.”

The conference is for researchers, businesses, business parks, municipalities, and consultants to exchange knowledge on the smart management of decentralized energy, including generation, storage, conversion, and flexible use. Smart Energy Hubs provides a framework and system vision for making energy systems for businesses, business parks, and residential areas fully sustainable. This framework also includes solutions for preventing grid congestion.

Program Highlights

• Keynote lecture by Henrik Lund (Aalborg University), one of Europe’s leading voices in sustainable energy planning and integration.
• High-level panel debate, chaired by Marjolein Bot, Program director System Integration Topsector Energie, with leading experts:
