In a world that is changing at lightning speed, it is essential not only to hold your ground but also to respond to new situations with flexibility and resilience. Whether it concerns your studies, your career, or your personal life: how do you remain agile when the circumstances around you are constantly shifting?

TUE - Walk with a Coach (English)

Date: 16 June 2026
Time: 11:00 - 16:00
Location: Sports Centre, waiting room Topvorm Twente

Step out of your daily routine and join a guided, one-on-one walk in nature around the University of Twente campus.

Within the well-being theme "Move With Change," we explore together how you can navigate change and challenges, both physically and mentally. During the walk, there is space for your story, and we can reflect on your resilience and personal stress factors, in a calm and natural environment.

If you'd like, attention can be given to how stress works in your body and what ways there are to become more conscious of it. This gives you insights and practical tools that you can take with you beyond the walk

TUE - Mental Health for Smart Minds

Date: 16 June 2026
Time: 12:00 - 13:00
Location: Drienerburght 102B, old ATLAS building

You can be brilliant at solving problems. But mental health is not just another problem you can fix with your mind. And real resilience, the kind that holds up under pressure, doesn’t start in your head either. This session is about something big and still too often invisible: the mental struggles of high-performing students and professionals, and the taboos that keep us silent about them. And about what resilience truly requires: staying upright while everything around you shifts.

TUE - Glassfusing Workshop

Date: 16 June 2026
Time: 13:00 - 14:30
Location: Atelier, Vrijhof

Working with glass is a special experience; the material you have always learned to be careful with, you can now use to create something. Glass always produces a beautiful result due to its inherent shine, and when light shines on it, glass comes to life.

During this workshop, you will learn to cut, grind, and arrange glass into a beautiful whole.
Everyone receives a 15x15 cm base plate on which to work, with the theme of creating a holiday memory (perhaps no theme? That is of course possible too).

THU - Resuscitation Course

Date: 18 June 2026
Time: 09:00 - 12:00
Location: Kleine Zaal, Vrijhof

A reason to take a CPR course
Each year, 17,000 people in the Netherlands suffer a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital. The chance of survival is highest if CPR is started within 6 minutes. However, many people don’t know how to perform CPR.

Most cardiac arrests happen at home
About 70% of cardiac arrests occur at home, often involving a parent, partner, or child. A CPR course gives you the confidence and skills to take immediate action if a loved one experiences a cardiac arrest.

You can save lives
Anyone who has completed a CPR course can register as a civilian responder. If someone nearby suffers a cardiac arrest, you will receive an alert on your phone to take action. This way, you can help save lives.

Anyone can learn CPR
During the course, you’ll receive practical information that you can apply right away. You’ll practice with a CPR manikin and a training AED, and learn how to recognize a cardiac arrest.

THU - #ikstaop: Small Moves, Big Change Workshop by Maaike Endedijk

Date: 18 June 2026
Time: 12:00 - 13:30
Location: Inform, Design Lab

From Silence to Action: how to stand up in academia? This workshop builds on the call to stand up against misconduct in academia (see also ut.onl/ikstaop).
Drawing on real stories, we explore how people have spoken up, supported others, or navigated unsafe working environments. Together, we examine different ways of standing up — for yourself or for others, individually or collectively. You will actively reflect, discuss, and develop realistic actions you can take in these moments, from small steps to more substantial interventions. The workshop is open to both academic and support staff, and you will leave with practical tools and more confidence to stand up and make a difference.

THU - Running Therapy

Date: 18 June 2026
Time: 16:00 - 17:00
Location: Start at the main entrance at the Sports Center University of Twente/Topvorm Twente

During the well-being weeks, “Move With Change!” focuses on improving mental and physical agility. Running therapy is a great way to do this. In small groups you’ll run or walk while working on your mental and physical health. The goal is to get out of your head and into your body, helping you relax and regain energy. This activity takes place over three weeks and starts with a trial session to see if it suits you. It can help with complaints such as stress, excessive worrying, depressive feelings, anxiety, panic attacks, and fatigue. No running experience is needed. You’ll learn to recognise your body’s signals and develop tools to set boundaries, guided by an expert.

Interested? Sign up and discover if running therapy works for you.
