Welcome to the Applied Cryogenics and Superconductivity Center at the University of Twente.
The center houses two research chairs: Applied Thermal Sciences and High Current Superconductivity. Together, we combine expertise in cryogenic cooling, thermal management, superconducting materials and high-current systems.
Our research connects fundamental understanding with practical applications, from efficient cryocoolers and liquid hydrogen technologies to superconducting cables and magnets. Working closely with academic and industrial partners, we develop and test technologies for sustainable energy, scientific research and advanced engineering.
