Project 'Data teams' wins EAPRIL award!

During the EAPRIL conference (European Association for Practitioner Research on Improving Learning) in Luxembourg, a conference in the education and research area, the project ‘Data teams’ has won the prestigious EAPRIL award. This is a great acknowledgement for the project team, as well as for the collaboration partners (Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and ‘Stichting Carmelcollege’) and all data team schools!

In total, 20 projects were recommended for this award, of which the jury nominated four projects. The four nominated projects were asked to give a 1-minute pitch by means of a video and a presentation about the project and research results. Kim Schildkamp presented the data team® procedure and the research results, followed by Christel Wolterinck who talked about the realization of a data team in practice at Sg. Marianum in Groenlo, the Netherlands. A ‘twitterwall’ was used to provide a platform for the public to pose critical questions. Afterwards, the public was asked to vote for the best project. The two projects with the most votes were judged by the jury again. In the closing session of the conference, the chairman announced the winner: the ‘Data team’ project of the University of Twente!
