Water is the future gold. The responsible management of (clean) water is therefore very important. The UT conducts research into how to save, manage and purify water. In addition to this, using the Water footprint developed at the UT, we attempt to make people, companies and public bodies more aware of their own (hidden) water consumption. Also in our own buildings, we are more aware in using water. In the new buildings, for example, various water saving measures have been applied.

An interesting fact: per year the UT uses 279,518 m3 water, comparable to the consumption of 1,391 families.
