Three research proposals of CTIT have been awarded in NWO's CASIMIR programme 2005. To this Call, 151 proposals have been submitted. Only 23 proposals have been awarded.
The proposal of Richa Malhotra, member of the EEMS/ Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS) group, has been valued with the mark 'Very Good/Excellent'. The title of her proposal is 'Quality of Service for Metropolitan Ethernet Networks'. This is a cooperation together with Lucent Technologies.
The proposal of Maurits de Graaf, associated with the EEMS/ Stochastic Operations Research (SOR) group, has also been valued with the mark 'Very Good/Excellent'. The title of his proposal is: Minimisation of energy consumption in wireless communication networks with high demand for reliability. This research is a cooperation with Thales.
The proposal of Bogumil Zieba, associated with the EEMS/Architecture and Services of Network Applications (ASNA) group, has been valued with the mark ‘Very Good’. The title of the proposal is: Reflective Middleware Support for Dynamic Data-Centric Systems. This research is a cooperation with Thales.
