When do I choose an unchanged re-enrolment?

In the following cases:

Your re-enrolment is unchanged in respect to your current enrolment.

§

You will shortly complete your bachelor programme and enrol for a master programme.

CSA processes programme changes from bachelor to master based on written information provided by your programme. The sooner you re-enrol for the current bachelor, the better. This enables CSA to complete your re-enrolment for the master programme. CSA will not be able to process the information from the master programme until you have re-enrolled in Studielink for the bachelor. Don’t forget to arrange the payment of your tuition fees in Studielink as well.

From fulltime to part-time student and vice versa for a master programme.

To change from fulltime to part-time student or vice versa you re-enrol with the button <Re-enrol for next year>. Then you change your form of education from fulltime to part-time or vice versa. Don’t forget to arrange the payment of your tuition fees in Studielink as well.

What to do if I can’t find the button ‘Re-enrol via Studielink’?

You want to re-enrol and you can’t find the button <Re-enrol for next year> in Studielink. Please send an email with a print screen from this page of Studielink with your name and student number to: studentservices@utwente.nl

When do I choose for a changed re-enrolment?

In the following cases:

You will start a new programme at the University of Twente.

§

You will start a second programme beside your current programme at the University of Twente.

In this case, don’t forget to re-enrol unchanged for your current progamme and arrange the payment of your tuition fees in Studielink.

§

You will start with a master programme after finishing your premaster.

Premaster to master per 1 September or 1 February (intake moments), take the following two steps:

1.

In Studielink you have to apply for enrolment for the master programme and arrange the payment of your tuition fees.

2.

Contact your study advisor and ask to send the admission form for your master programme to CSA as soon as possible.

Premaster to master from any moment except the intake moments, take only step 2. CSA will contact you about your enrolment for the master and payment tuition fee.

I am a bachelor student. How can I re-enrol for a changed enrolment in Studielink?

If you change from bachelor programme A to bachelor programme B you press the button <Enrolment application> in Studielink to enrol for this bachelor programme. Don’t forget to arrange the payment of your tuition fees in Studielink!

I am a master student. How can I re-enrol for a changed enrolment in Studielink?

If you change from a master programme A to a master programme B you press the button <Enrolment application> in Studielink to enrol for this master programme. Don’t forget to arrange the payment of your tuition fees in Studielink!

Is a change of address perceived as a change in my re-enrolment?

No, a change of address is no change in your e-enrolment. Don’t forget to change your address in Studielink.

Is a change in method of payment perceived as a change in my re-enrolment (e.g. by authorisation form in instalments or a payment form into account)?

No, a change in method of payment is not a change in your re-enrolment. You can change your method of payment each year.

If I pass my bachelor this summer and transfer to a master, does this count as a programme change?

No, this is not classed as a programme change. CSA processes programme changes from bachelor to master based on written information provided by your programme. The sooner you re-enrol for the current bachelor, the better. This enables CSA to complete your re-enrolment for the master programme. CSA will not be able to process the information from the master programme until you have re-enrolled in Studielink for the bachelor. Don’t forget to arrange the payment of your tuition fees in Studielink as well.

I am a premaster student. Do I have to re-enrol in Studielink?

Yes, as a premaster student you have to re-enrol in Studielink. You already paid the amount for this premaster at the start of this premaster.

How do I enter the master programme once I have completed my premaster?

Premaster to master per 1 September or 1 February (intake moments), take the following two steps:

In Studielink you have to apply for enrolment for the master programme and arrange the payment of your tuition fees.

2.

Contact your study advisor and ask to send the admission form for your master programme to CSA as soon as possible.

I don’t know if I will obtain enough credits to get a positive BSA. Should I already re-enrol?

If you expect that you will obtain enough credits to get a positive BSA, please re-enrol in Studielink for the new academic year. As soon as you have a positive BSA, your re-enrolment will be activate automatically by CSA, on the condition that you have arranged the payment of the tuition fees.

If you expect that you will not obtain enough credits and you will get a negative BSA for this academic year, please don’t re-enrol in Studielink for this programme!

Please note: make sure you arranged your re-enrolment before 1 September!

What to do if I don’t want to re-enrol for the new academic year?

If you do not wish or you are not permitted to re-enrol for the new academic year, please let us know via Studielink as well. Check the ‘Step by step instruction – I do not wish to re-enrol’. After you clicked the button ‘No, I do not wish to re-enrol’ your enrolment will end by law per 1 September. CSA will cease sending you emails about re-enrolment.
