Fixed quota programme and decentralised selection

For the academic year 2016-2017 the University of Twente will offer one programme with 100% decentralised selection1) and central selection2), namely the Bachelor Technische Geneeskunde (Technical Medicine).

For the decentralised- and central selection you need to follow the application and registration procedure of the University of Twente but also the allocation procedure of DUO (the Service Centre of the Dutch Ministry of Education).

Please make sure to follow the instructions of both institutions!

 

Bachelor’s programme Technische Geneeskunde (Technical Medicine)

1) DECENTRALISED SELECTION (selection by the University of Twente)

For the academic year 2016-2017, the Bachelor Degree programme of Technische Geneeskunde (Technical Medicine) will be a 100% decentralised selection. 130 study places will be available. The study places are allocated by means of selection by the programme. The selection days will take place on Friday 1 and 8 April 2016. If you want to participate in the 100% decentralised selection, please apply for the Bachelor Technische Geneeskunde via Studielink before the deadline 15 January 2016.

2) CENTRAL SELECTION (FIXED QUOTA PROGRAMME)

If you have any questions about the procedures for the central selection (numerus fixus) please contact DUO. Click here for all the information from DUO concerning the procedures for the central selection. Please pay close attention to what applies to you and send the requested documents to DUO in time.

Make sure you enrol in time!

100% Decentralised selection programme Technische Geneeskunde: apply via Studielink before the deadline 15 January 2016.

Make sure your personal information can be verified in time!

All your personal information which you have registered in Studielink will have to be verified via the municipal register (GBA). If the information does not match you will be asked to hand in or send a hard copy of your certificate of residence or a copy of your passport to the University of Twente. Please send this as soon as possible to the Central Student Administration or hand in a copy at the desk of Student Services, Vrijhof 239b.

It is possible that the DUO or the University of Twente requests you to provide additional documents. So after your application for a programme please check your e-mail regularly and reply in time to these e-mails.
