Michiel Wolbers is a PhD student at the University of Twente in the department of Business Administration. His PhD research focuses on the decision making and network dynamics in intra- and inter-organizational innovation projects, in particular in the construction industry. His PhD advisors are prof. dr. ir. Petra de Weerd-Nederhof, prof. dr. ir. Joop Halman and dr. ir. Erwin Hofman.

In 2012 Michiel obtained an MSc. in Construction Management & Engineering and an MSc. in Business Administration (track Innovation & Entrepreneurship), both from the University of Twente. He combines his PhD research with advisory activities on innovation management at Ballast Nedam in Nieuwegein.
