As a third year Psychology student at the University of Strathclyde I have studied various fields of psychology and have therefore developed a variety of interests. Of particular interest to me is the effect of group membership on behaviour and how attitude change can lead to behavioural change. I have volunteered throughout my 3 years at University and have grown highly interested in the fields I have worked in. I currently volunteer with a service that works with offenders who struggle with addiction. This has made me interested in the links between addiction and crime and how these can be mitigated. I have also volunteered in third wold countries and the differences between their systems of mental health treatment and those of the west interest me greatly.
