Drs. E.E.(Elger) de Lange MA (Hengelo,1975) is lecturer European Public Administration at the University of Twente, Faculty of Behavioural, Management & Social Sciences, Department of Public Administration. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics (University of Groningen) and in European Studies (College of Europe, Natolin/Poland). He started his career in the Dutch Ministry of Finance (EU unit), where he was responsible for the coordination of the monthly ECOFIN Council in Brussels. He also worked for Dutch Railways (NS), Business Development unit, where he was project manager for the evaluation of the Dutch legal framework for the railway sector (2008/2009).

Elger de Lange is currently working on a dissertation on corporate social responsibility (working title Responsible Business: A Political Economy Perspective).

In May 2013, he participated in an international workshop on integrity in the public sector in colaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences.


Elger de Lange is teaching the course ‘Introduction to Economics’ to Bachelor students of European Public Administration.

He is also a tutor for the Bachelor programme European Public Administration.
