Anke Engelhardt joined the Department of Administration, Faculty of Behavioural, Management & Social Sciences in September 2013. She studied International Business & Law at Saxion University of Applied Science (BSc) and holds a Master degree in European Studies from the University of Twente (MSc/MA) and the University of Münster (Germany). In her thesis, Anke benchmarked the regional innovation performance of Twente with other European reference regions in the light of the Europe 2020 Agenda. Since 2010 Anke works part-time at the knowledge center for urban and regional development at Saxion University of Applied Science as a researcher.
At the Department of Public Administration her activities include mainly tutoring of students within the new BSc-programme European Public Administration. Furthermore she is involved in external research projects.
