RESEARCH INTERESTS AND PROJECTS
My research interests are on combining technology and behavioral science. I am currently working on a project called ‘Wearable group data’ in cooperation with Dr. E.G. Ufkes and Dr. M.D. Endedijk. In this project we research the use of wearable sociometric and WiFi badges to measure group interactions. These badges register patterns of human behavior by collecting data on location, movement, face-to-face interaction and speech characteristics. The goal of our project is to determine how these badges can best be integrated in behavioral research. We intend to create protocols for their use, and for analyses and visualizations of the raw data.
