The paper "CULTURE & ENTREPRENEURIAL PROCESSES; EVIDENCE OF INFLUENCE" by Martin Stienstra, Rainer Harms, Ronald van den Ham and Aard Groen won the BEST PAPER AWARD in the track “New venture creation” at the 57th International Council for Small Businesses (ICSB) world conference.
The paper got in particular good scores (1=Low, 5=High): Originality of the submission 4.6; Will this presentation provoke debate and discussion: 4.6 and Rigour (1=Low, 5=High): 4.3
300 papers were submitted for the ICSB conference. 225 papers were accepted for 17 tracks. In the end, 200 papers were presented at the conference.
Founded in 1955, the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) was the first international membership organization to promote the growth and development of small businesses worldwide. The organization brings together educators, researchers, policy makers and practitioners from around the world to share knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. In order to achieve this, the council organises a conference on an annual basis. The 57th edition of the ICSB world conference was hosted by Massey university in Wellington, New Zealand, from 10-13 June 2012.
