Curriculum Vitae

Björn Kijl holds a Master in Business Information Technology from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Twente where graduated in 2004 (cum laude / with highest distinction).


He was a consultant at eMAXX, a fast growing eBusiness/eGovernment company. Björn also worked as a researcher in both Dutch as well as international research projects on subjects like business models for next generation mobile services and future working environments via the Dutch Telematics Institute/Delft University of Technology and in cooperation with companies and organizations like Nokia en Fraunhofer.


Currently, Björn works at the School of Management & Governance of the University of Twente where he continues his research on business models, e.g. via the e-health project Myotel and the EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) funded ICT Labs Knowledge & Innovation Community. Besides, he is a founding partner of a business model & investment research boutique that serves tens of thousands of private as well as professional investors. He is also co-author of the first Dutch bestseller about the great investor Warren Buffett.
