The predictive brain-Verwey

Supervisors: prof. dr. Willem Verwey, Jonathan Barnhoorn MSc

To what extent does the brain prepare for tasks as a whole? This question is related to a new line of research in cognitive research. The proposed master research will investigate this issue by having participants learn the same keying sequences either in separate setups (‘tasks’) or in a single setup. The question investigated is whether participants will be slower when they switch between keying sequences of different tasks sets than of the same task set. This study will involve two experiments in the GWlab. Programming skill is a plus but not required.
