CHEPS participate in study on career impacts of ERC Funding

Together with ICF international, Elsevier and Vitae UK the Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) will conduct an evaluation measuring the career impacts of ERC funding. A counterfactual impact analysis that will compare the career development of ERC grantees and their team members with that of researchers who were not funded by ERC schemes forms the heart of the project. In addition a literature review on factors impacting on the careers of academics will be done. Further, the project will investigate how institutions care for their ERC grantees by e.g. developing tailored HR policies.
