Future scenarios for the use of ICT in higher education
Together with the Faculty of Educational Science & Technology (FEST), CHEPS has organised a survey among decision-makers, instructors and support staff in higher education institutions on the implementation, use and effects of ICT. The project is co-funded by SURF, the support agency for technology for higher education in the Netherlands; the German Bertelsmann Foundation and the Norwegian Ministry of Education.
The research project analyses whether technology is driving changes or is only responds to changes, what institutions will be like in 2005, and whether there are converging or diverging trends within and between national systems.
The following nine countries are involved in the project: the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Finland.
