Department of Water Resources

The Department of Water Resources of ITC is a multidisciplinary scientific department specialising in scientific research and education in Earth Observation and Geo-information Sciences for the understanding, monitoring, predicting and sustainable use and management of water resources. The International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) makes vital contributions to modelling and managing food security in semi-arid lands, where there is an inextricable link with water resources for the cultivation and prevention of environmental degradation.
