Innovation Workshop with Water Board Regge and Dinkel: November 7th

In follow-up to the Twente Water Week, the Twente Water Centre and the Water Board of Regge and Dinkel are co-organising an innovation workshop. As was noted at the Joining Forces in Water Symposium, solving future water challenges is envisioned to require the collaboration of the research, public and private sectors. In order to move forward and develop upcoming water related research, infrastructure, communication and management plans, we invite you to participate as a representative of your research group and help develop these strategies. The goal of this workshop will be to develop a number of concrete initiatives that the UT researchers and the Water Board can further develop, and when possible alongside members of the private sector. The Water Board has initiated this process by openly posing some of the challenges being currently faced:

1. Water Cycle: Water Filtration, Energy and Resource uses

2. Water System: Infrastructure and Modelling

3. Water System: Water level management, Sensor Technologies

4. Water Governance: New Collaborations, Strategic Positioning

The main language of the meetings will be in Dutch.

This workshop will take place on November 7th, 2012 (exact time and place to be later provided). We look forward to your participation in this innovative and strategic approach to improving collaboration between researchers across disciplines and with the public and private sector. Please contact Cheryl de Boer (c.deboer@utwente.nl) to register or for any other questions you may have. To see the attached flyer for additional information (in Dutch) click HERE
