Participation at the University of Twente
Staff can help shape UT policy. Their influence is greater than, say, a company’s works council. UT staff can influence:
· |
the course established by the Executive Board for the university as a whole via the University Council (UR) and for UT terms of employment via the labour unions (OPUT) |
· |
policy for their respective faculty, research institute or service via the decentralised councils. |
Students have a lot to say at the UT. They can even directly influence UT policy with respect to:
· |
the course established by the Executive Board for the university as a whole via the University Council (UR) |
· |
policy for their respective faculty or programme course via the Faculty Council (FR) and Programme Committees (OLCs). |
