At the start of a new academic year

Some news items from this summer from a library perspective:

v

The UT repository is ranked 35th in the webometrics ranking of institutional repositories

Do you have doubts about the benefits of having your publication stored in the open access UT repository? According to Ranking Web of World Repositories the UT publications repository is one of the best visible Dutch scientific archives, having number 35 in the top 400 of this world ranking. Out of all the Dutch universities only the repositories of the two largest, Utrecht and Groningen, have a higher ranking. This ranking is based on (link) visibility, size (pages), rich files (pdf's), and Google Scholar results.

v

The 2008 Journal Citation Reports were published during the summer

New features and title changes can be found here. From the suppressed journals I could only find recent publications from UT members in Building Research and Information (6 papers in 2004-2009), Journal of the Korean Physical Society (2 papers in 1998, 2008), and Polimery (1 paper in 2005).

v
