Oxford Advanced Learner's Compass for MAC OS

In order to use this database, you have to comply to the following criteria:

use an Active Directory Account

In order to use the Oxford Advanced Learner's compass, a one-time Client Software installation is required.

Click in the Dock on the Finder icon
Use the key-combination: Apple-K (or go the menu bar item: Go / Connect to server)
A window appears: Connect to server
Type for Server Address: smb://win096.service.utwente.nl/ox_mac
Click Connect
Type in the next screen your Windows username / password and the right domain (for example: student or dept)
A window wil open containing the files on the fileserver
copy the "oald7" folder to your Applications folder
Double-click "oald7" in that folder to launch it.
