Vacancy for a Postdoc

The research group Catalytic Processes and Materials (CPM) has a vacant position for a postdoctoral researcher in the field of catalysis and material science. The PD will explore preparation methods for synthesizing porous catalyst support materials that are partly hydrophilic and partly hydrophobic.  Spatial resolution of these functionalities is important and methods will be used inspired by on-going research and expertise in the groups Inorganic Membranes (dr. Louis Winnubst) and Soft Matter, Fluidics and Interfaces (prof. Rob Lammertink). The materials will be tested as catalyst supports in a three-phase-catalytic reaction, i.e. hydrogenation of nitrite, in the CPM group (prof. Leon Lefferts).
