Technische Stages in Japan inclusief Beurs

Het Vulcanus In Japan programma biedt stages en volledige beurzen voor technische EU studenten. Het programma bestaat uit een seminar, een intensieve Japanse taalcursus van vier maanden en een stage van acht maanden bij een Japans technologiebedrijf. The ‘Vulcanus in Japan’ trainee programme is aimed at EU university students in the field of engineering, high-technology or other related scientific fields. The programme offers industrial placements in Japanese companies in Japan.

The programme includes a seminar on Japan, a four-month intensive Japanese language course, followed by an eight-month traineeship in a Japanese company. The programme starts September 2011 and ends August 2012.

The Vulcanus in Japan trainee programme is run by the EU-JAPAN Centre for Industrial Cooperation, a joint venture co-financed by the European Commission and the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The programme aims to teach students about the range of advanced technologies employed by a leading Japanese host company, to familiarize the student with Japanese language and to breed understanding and appreciation for Japanese culture.

You are eligible for the Vulcanus in Japan programme if:

Scholarship

A ¥ 2,000,000 scholarship (about €16,000) is awarded to participants covering travel costs and living expenses in Japan. There is no charge for the language course and seminar, and accommodation is provided free of charge during the entire duration of the program.
