Private Tutoring

Aim

Provide UT-employees with the opportunity to private language tutoring by an experienced and qualified language teacher. Private language tutoring is possible for: Dutch, English & Spanish.

Aimed at

Employees, including PhD’s, who are struggling with a clearly definable language problem which (a) cannot be dealt with suitably in a language course, or (b) is so specific that individual tutoring is a better option.

Content

The candidate and the tutor always have an initial intake meeting to establish the candidates learning objectives. Depending on those learning objectives the candidate and the tutor together decide how many tutoring sessions are needed and what is to be the content of those sessions. If so desired by the candidate, tutoring may also take place in a small group, provided other candidates share this with.

Organisation

The candidate and the tutor together decide where an when tutoring sessions are to take place. The TCP Language Centre draws up an agreement confirming all arrangements made. The candidate will be billed personally on the basis of this agreement.

Study Load

To be decided individually. A certificate stating the study load is available upon request.
