Getting Started with Dutch

Aim

In this short course, students will acquire a basic and practical knowledge of Dutch, leading them to CEF-level A1.

Aimed at

This course aims especially at international students in an English taught programme who speak little or no Dutch.

·	Dutch grammar and conventions

·	Basic vocabulary

·	Speaking about every day situations

Organisation

The lessons consist of interactive group tuition.

Open entry.

Study load

Attendance at every lesson is essential. The course consists of nine lessons of two hours each, with one session per week. Homework is expected to take approximately two hours per lesson. The study load for this course is roughly equivalent to 1 ECTS.
