11.11.08 How saintly are the Saints

A funny guessing game was it with the saints. Quiz questions, funny answers and low fat Dutch speculaas with coffee and tea were the ingredients for a cheerful evening.

After a while it was nearly impossible to distinguish between St. Nicholas and St. Martin. We shall probably remember that Nicholas did something for three poor women and Martin for a poor naked beggar. And, that hospitals are named after St. Martin. And, also maybe that Nicholas was a Turk and Martin a Hungarian.

Anyhow, it was a fun evening and we all know a little bit more about the three saints we come across in the winter months.
