Administrative support for the Profilering excellent onderzoek en UT-onderzoeksnetwerk project (to raise the profile of excellent research and UT research network);

Quality management research including research visitations and institutional evaluations;

Research information and research assessment;

·

UT research awards: Overijssel PhD Award and the Professor de Winter Prize;

·

Relations with IMPACT, MESA+ and IGS research institutes.

Maurice Bouwens

Drs. F.B.J.M. Bouwens

Staff Member Research

Maurice develops and advises on researcher training policy, Graduate School and research institutes. He also works on national and international valorization and innovation policy. Maurice is the first point of contact for the Royal Netherlands Academy for Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) and maintains relations with Wageningen University, Radboud University Nijmegen and the University of Groningen. He also supervises the nominations for national prizes and awards for the Academy Professor Programme, the Young Academy Programme, the distinguished Lorentz Fellowship and the Spinoza Prize. He is account manager for the BMTI, CTIT and IBR research institutes.

At present he is providing administrative support for two projects: the development of the UT Graduate School and the formation of the BMTTM Institute.

Roelyn van der Hoek

Roelyn is secretary of the executive committee of the Innovation Lab and, as such, is a member of the Valorization Working Group of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands. She also deals with administrative relations and has recently joined the Strategic Alliance Working Group for RoUTe’14. Together with Anja Strootman, Roelyn runs the processes between the University Council and the Executive Board (including the flow of documents and specification of commitments).
