Time flies and you will soon close off
years of scientific research with a
thesis. And because your thesis should look perfect, we have invited experts from local printing companies to tell you all about printing your thesis. We organize a keynote and a market in which these printers present themselves. Come and have a look, ask about printing prices, compare thesis layouts and covers! Program The event starts at 15:30 in room H116 (Horst building) with a 30-minute presentation by one of the participating printing companies. After the talk, the companies' representatives will be open to questions in the canteen of the Horst building from 16:00 to 17:30. Snacks and drinks will be served. | General Members Meeting - Wednesday, January 30th, 17:00, Carré 2G |
Our annual General Members Meeting (GMM) is planned for Wednesday, January 30th. During this GMM, we will first present our annual report, detailing the activities of 2012 and our plans and budget for 2013. Also, new board members will be elected. By participating in this GMM, our members have the opportunity to have their say in P-NUT policy: who do think should represent you, and what do you think we should put on our agenda? So, all join for the General Members Meeting. Three board positions are open for election during the GMM: President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The P-NUT board will select and support a single candidate for each position. Members can also nominate themselves. Following our statutes, this requires them to send the President of P-NUT (r.nieuwenhuis@utwente.nl) an e-mail stating the candidacy, the desired position, and a letter of motivation, as well as a list of signatures of at least 10 P-NUT members supporting the candidacy. The strict deadline for providing this information is January 21, 12:00 hours. The agenda and a list of candidate board members will be made available to P-NUT members on January 22.
