HBO (Saxion, and others)

Students holding a BSc Applied Physics or Chemical Technology from Saxion, or any other Dutch University of Applied Sciences (Dutch: “HBO instelling”) can enter the MSc with an additional 30 EC pre-MSc program and 15 EC additional homologation within your MSc program. These 15 EC homologation is instead of the 15 EC industrial training, for which you will receive an exemption. This means that the total package of Pre-MSc and MSc is a 150 EC in total (equivalent to 2.5 years).

NOTE: Due to the ‘Harde-knip’-rule, it is absolutely mandatory to finish your Pre-MSc before you can start your MSc program.

“DOORSTROOM-MINOR” NANOTECHNOLOGY @ Saxion

It is possible to already do a number of the pre-MSc courses in your educational program at Saxion in a “doorstroomminor”. This is a 30 EC package of courses you follow at the University of Twente, while you are a Saxion student. More information on this can be found here.
