De movers

de movers: Trojan Horse [Dance]

Enough is enough, life has become too boring. Three friends decide to seek their fortune elsewhere. And being truly adventurous, they leave the car with air conditioning and airbag: they pack their backpacks and take the motor cycle combination. Dressed in the finest goatskin, Russian aviator caps firmly knotted under the chin and tinted sunglasses on the nose, they leave the familiar roads. A fresh wind blows in their face.
But why does the engine suddenly make a strange noise? Where does all that smoke come from? And even if the brakes stopped working!

Runge

Hans Runge: The Bed [Solo exhibition]

Installations by Hans Runge

Hans Runge investigates the concept of living in a house. He especially focuses on the role of the bed: the central place in a house according to him. The place you return to, where you rest, where you are always welcome.
In his installations Hans Runge plays with space. His almost naive way of working critizises the current standardized way of working and the many empty buildings everywhere. He proposes a more dynamic form of architecture. In that way he stands in a long tradition of the AKI.

The opening is on Thursday 19th January 4 PM in the Big exhibition space of the Vrijhof.
