MIRA scientists are from all over the world, representing our international orientation. In our buildings, people sing Chinese, cook Italian and speak English. The atmosphere at MIRA is sparkling and full of energy. Our institute is young and ambitious.

Currently, MIRA houses about 100 PhD students, 50 assistant and associate professors and 30 full professors. During the next years, MIRA will expand from 250 employees in 2010 to 400 in 2014, following our objective to be a key player in biomedical technology and technical medicine. Not only will we welcome many promising PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. We also have vacancies for 13 full, clinical and entrepreneurial professors that have proved their distinguished scientific value. In addition, a dozen talented scientists will be offered a tenure track.
